Our Data Recovery Engineers have been involved in Computers most of their working lives. They have worked as data analysts, support engineers and senior analysts.

DTI Data started out as Backtrack LTD.
located in Masterton, New Zealand, central to all New Zealanders. The premises had a Fire Proof, Burglar Proof walk-in Vault the size of a good bedroom surrounded with 10 inches of Concrete and Steel Doors. With this potential as a secure environment to store and retrieve confidential data. We soon built that company into one of New Zealand's premier Data Recovery Companies.

In Jan 2002 we did a technology exchange with one of the larger data recovery companies in the United States of America called DTI Data.COM. We also formed relationships with other large data recovery companies through out the world... including TECLEO of South Africa.

In the summer of 2003, DTI Data purchased Backtrack LTD and moved to Hamilton, New Zealand. Seeing the huge potential for Data Recovery in this part of the world, as well as being so impressed with the engineering skill, integrity, and overall business practices.
