The team that fuels DTI Data has been together for over six years. They worked together on the first data recovery software in 1996. The first program to effectively recover from FAT and FAT 16. In fact Microsoft was so impressed with the recovery software, they have been sending DTI's software engineers beta versions of their file systems since.

In 2000 the principles formed DTI DATA. Incorporating unparralled experience in software developement with clean room technology, DTI is now the forerunner in software/hardware data recovery. With specialists in MAC, Linux, and RAID systems, DTI can tackle any data recovery project that comes their way. Certain RAID recoveries require software applications to be developed "on the fly" to accomodate each individual project. This separates DTI from the competition.

DTI is the only data recovery company in the world that offers upfront pricing along with a "no data, no charge" policy. The experience of DTI's engineers and application developers allows them to accurately price a job based upon the symptoms the client's drive(s) are facing.

In 2002 DTI DATA opened it's first international offices in London England. Seeing a need for fairly priced data recovery services overseas DTI took the bull by the horns and now runs the premier data recovery lab in the UK.

2003 brought more expansion to DTI with the purchase of Backtrack LTD. DTI now has the southern hemispheres leading data recovery facilities.
